- HIGHLAND HISTORY -

Highland Memorial Cemetery is a traditional cemetery established in 1965 by Miamisburg businessman Calvin Bell and family.  Highland is located on 44 acres high above the Miami Valley on the corner of State Route 725 and Union Road in Miamisburg, Ohio.  Beautifully landscaped with trees, shrubs, flowers, and a 1/4 acre lake, Highland offers upright monument lots, flush monument lots, as well as both in ground and above ground cremation interments.
Highland is a perpetual care cemetery chartered by the state of Ohio as a non-profit corporation. Perpetual care means that money from the purchase of each lot is set aside for future upkeep and care of the cemetery. As of 2018, over $700,000.00 has been set aside in a trust for this purpose. The board of trustees works on a mandate to preserve and protect the memories of families and loved ones. This trust will ensure that expansion will continue and the grounds maintained.
